Every transaction in your history has a status. Here is what each one means.
Pending
The transaction has started but is not finished. Examples:
- a naira withdrawal waiting to be sent
- a gift card being checked
- a crypto withdrawal waiting for review
- a bill payment the provider has not confirmed
- a naira deposit you started but have not paid
Awaiting Approval
The transaction needs a check from our team before it can go ahead.
Completed
Done. The money or crypto has been credited or sent.
Failed
The transaction did not go through. Depending on the type:
- failed bill payments are refunded to your naira wallet automatically
- declined gift cards include a reason in the notification
- failed crypto withdrawals leave your crypto in your Snapiro wallet
Cancelled
The transaction was stopped and will not go ahead.
Refunds
When money is returned to you, the refund appears as its own entry in your history, separate from the original transaction.
