This policy explains how the Snapiro website uses cookies and similar technologies. It covers this website only. The Snapiro mobile app is covered by our privacy policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way. They can remember settings, keep you signed in or measure how a site is used.
2. Cookies we use
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics or tracking cookies on this website. Visiting, reading and using the calculators on this site does not place any cookies in your browser.
The only cookies this website sets are:
- Sign-in cookies for Snapiro staff. When a member of our team signs in to manage the website, WordPress sets cookies (names beginning with
wordpress_andwp-settings-) to keep them signed in and remember their editor settings. Visitors who do not sign in never receive these.
3. Third-party cookies
Some content comes from other services, which may set their own cookies when you use it:
- YouTube. Videos on our site load only when you press play. They use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), but once a video plays, YouTube may store information in your browser under its own policy.
- App stores and social networks. Links to Google Play, the App Store, WhatsApp, X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube take you to those services, which apply their own cookie policies.
4. If this changes
If we add analytics or any other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before setting them, as the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 requires.
5. How to control cookies
You can delete cookies and block them in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop you reading this website or using its calculators.
