How to Set Up or Change Your Transaction PIN

Your transaction PIN is a 4-digit number you enter to approve money leaving your account. You need it to:

  • sell crypto for naira
  • withdraw naira to your bank
  • send crypto to another wallet
  • pay for airtime, data, TV and electricity
  • move your cashback into your naira wallet

Set your PIN for the first time

  1. Tap Settings, then View Profile, then Transaction PIN. You can also tap Don’t have a PIN? on any PIN prompt.
  2. On Setup your pin, enter a 4-digit New PIN and type it again in Confirm New PIN.
  3. Tap Create Pin. You will see “Transaction Pin saved successfully”.

Change your PIN

  1. Go to Settings, View Profile, Transaction PIN.
  2. On Change your pin, enter your Current PIN, then the new PIN twice.
  3. Tap Save Changes.

Choosing a good PIN

Avoid 1234, 0000, repeated digits, your birth year or the last digits of your phone number. Do not use the same PIN as your bank card, and never share it. Snapiro staff will never ask for your PIN.
