E-code vs Physical Gift Cards

When you sell a gift card, you choose its type. Picking the right one helps our team check your card faster.

E-code

An e-code is a digital card: a code you received by email, text or in an app, with no plastic card. To sell one:

  • Choose e-code under Choose Type.
  • Type the full code in User Remarks. If you have several, put each on its own line.
  • Upload a screenshot of the email or receipt showing the code and amount.

Physical

A physical card is a plastic or paper card bought in a store. To sell one:

  • Choose physical under Choose Type.
  • Scratch off the code panel gently so every character can be read.
  • Upload a clear photo of the front and the back, and the store receipt if you have it.

Tips for both

  • Do not redeem or check the balance of a card on a shared account before selling. Cards that have been used are declined.
  • Do not sell the same card anywhere else at the same time.
  • Rates can differ by type and currency. The app shows the rate for your choice before you submit.
