Bitcoin can also move over the Lightning Network, a faster layer built on top of Bitcoin. Your Snapiro BTC address is for the main Bitcoin network. If you are in Onitsha and your wallet offers Lightning, do not use it for a Snapiro deposit.
Send on-chain
Choose a regular Bitcoin (on-chain) send in your wallet and paste the BTC address from your Snapiro app. If the wallet asks for a Lightning invoice, you are on the wrong option.
Wrapped bitcoin is different too
Tokens like BTCB on BNB Smart Chain are not bitcoin on the Bitcoin network, and they cannot be sent to a Snapiro BTC address.
Once your deposit confirms, check the naira amount and accept it. Traders around Head Bridge and the Main Market can then move it to their bank.
