Snapiro is a Nigerian app that lets people sell crypto for naira, pay bills and trade gift cards, with naira paid straight to their own bank account. We are looking for a Social Media Manager to run our social channels day to day and turn the people who follow us into people who use the app.
The role
You will own Snapiro’s social media from plan to post: deciding what we publish, making it, putting it out, replying to people and reporting what worked. For many Nigerians, our social pages are the first place they meet Snapiro, so you will be the voice they hear first. You will work closely with the people who build the app and write our blog and help guides.
What you will do
- Plan and run a monthly content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook and YouTube.
- Create short videos, carousels, graphics and captions yourself, and brief designers or creators when a job needs more.
- Turn our blog guides, product updates and app features into posts people want to save and share.
- Reply to comments and messages in our voice, and pass account or transaction questions to the support team quickly.
- Find fake Snapiro pages and scam posts, report them and warn our followers.
- Work with our ambassadors and with creators on campaigns.
- Track reach, engagement, follower growth and app downloads from social, and share a short report every month.
What we are looking for
- At least two years managing social media for a brand, ideally a fintech, crypto or consumer app.
- Accounts or campaigns you have grown, and the numbers to show for it.
- Clear, natural written English and a good ear for how Nigerians talk online. Pidgin is a plus.
- Confidence shooting and editing short videos on a phone, with CapCut or a similar app.
- An understanding of crypto and Nigerian fintech, or a real interest in learning it fast.
- Good judgement about money content: you know what not to post, and you never promise returns.
Nice to have
- Design skills in Canva or Figma.
- Experience running paid campaigns on Meta or TikTok.
- Experience building and moderating an online community.
How to apply
Use the form on this page. Attach your CV and add links to two or three accounts, posts or campaigns you are proud of. If you are shortlisted, we will contact you by email or phone.
