Don’t Have Access to My BVN Registered Phone Number

As part of our stringent security measures within the Snapiro ecosystem, we have implemented an OTP (One-Time Password) verification process for all wallet transfers. This added layer of security helps ensure the integrity of your transactions.

In the event that you encounter any issues with OTP delivery due to a lack of access to your BVN (Bank Verification Number) registered phone number, or if you are not receiving the OTP as expected, we offer the option to update your registered BVN phone number in our system.

It’s important to note that this update process is solely for your convenience within the Snapiro ecosystem and does not impact your BVN records with your bank or the Central Switch.

To proceed with changing your phone number to your desired one, kindly follow the outlined process below. Your security and satisfaction remain our top priorities.

Send an email (from the email address tied to your Patricia account) to mysecurity@snapiro.com

The email should contain the following:

  • Full Name
  • Last 4-digits of your BVN
  • Current Phone Number tied to your BVN
  • The number you would like it changed to
  • The reason you would like to Change your Phone Number
  • A Picture of you holding a white paper with the words “Snapiro” and today’s date on it.
  • A clear copy of your government-issued ID (International Passport, Voters Card, Driver’s License. National Identity Card, NIN Slip)

Once your email is received by our security team, a reset will be made within 24 hours if the information you sent is genuine.
